Day 1
New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport - Hotel ( New Delhi )
On arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by one of our representatives outside the exit gate. Just keep a look out for a friendly man holding a placard with your name on it. The representative will take you to your car, from where you’ll be whisked off to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do with as you please.
Day 2
Old Delhi Walking Half Day Tour ( New Delhi )
Enjoy the hustle and bustle of the oldest part of Delhi. Poke around the shops, marvel at the architecture, and come shoulder to shoulder with men and oxen pulling carts full of their wares.
This walk around Old Delhi will last for about four hours, taking in Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir (Jain temple), Gauri Shankar Mandir (Hindu temple), Sunehri Masjid (Golden mosque), Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Sikh temple), Jalebi Wala (sweet shop), Dariba Kalan (jewellery market) and Paranthe Wali Gali (paratha lane).
Half Day New Delhi Tour ( New Delhi )
Two wonderful Mughal monuments (Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb) and a couple of British structures (India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan) make this a real journey into Delhi’s past.
At the start of your tour you’ll be driven to the Qutab Minar, where you’ll spend an hour looking around the monuments. Following this, there’ll be about a 30 minute drive before you arrive at Humayun’s Tomb. You can spend around 60-90 minutes here – exploring the monuments and relaxing in the beautiful grounds – before being taken to Lutyens’ Delhi. Here you will visit India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Day 3
New Delhi - Agra
The driver will take you to Agra (03 Hrs / 230 KMS Approx.). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for refreshments and photography.
Half Day Taj Mahal and Agra Fort ( Agra )
Visiting the Taj Mahal is an absolute must during your time in India. The vast beauty and intricate marble-work of its architecture complements the romance of its back story perfectly.
Contrasting the delicate beauty of the Taj Mahal is the robust splendour of Agra Fort – just two kilometres (1.3 miles) down the road. The red sandstone turrets, impenetrable walls and hidden corridors make it a fascinating place to explore.
On arriving at the Taj Mahal, your guide will show you around, giving you an overview of the monument’s history, as well as sharing some interesting anecdotes. With the guide’s assistance, you’ll be free to wander around the grounds, examine the architecture, take pictures and step inside the mahal itself. After two hours, the driver will meet you and take you to Agra Fort.
Fifteen minutes after leaving the Taj Mahal, you’ll arrive at Agra Fort and spend some time here before the tour ends.
Optional: If you’d like to see the centuries-old craft of marble-working in action, then mention this to the driver and he’ll happily take you to one of the workshops before the end of the tour. Please note, this optional activity will add an hour to the duration of your tour.
Day 4
Half Day Fatehpur Sikri Tour ( Agra )
Just 37 km (23 miles) from Agra, Fatehpur Sikri is one of the most overlooked wonders of India. This awe-inspiring ancient city of red sandstone is deserving of half a day sightseeing all to itself.
After a one-hour drive you’ll arrive at Fatehpur Sikri. Here you’ll be shown around by your guide, as he gives you an overview of the city’s fascinating history, as well as answering any questions you may have.
After two hours of exploring this complex of monuments and palaces, you’ll rejoin your driver.
Agra - Jaipur
The driver will take you to Jaipur (4 Hrs / 233 Kms approx.). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for refreshments and photography.
Day 5
Half Day Amber Fort Tour ( Jaipur )
Having been picked up by your guide and driver, you’ll be taken to the 16th century Rajput capital of Amber – just 11km from the city. The tour also includes an elephant ride to reach the entrance of this fortress of Amber.
Half Day Jaipur City Tour ( Jaipur )
This four hour trip will take you to the Maharaja’s City Palace, which is a magnificent structure lying within the walled city of Jaipur. Here you’ll get to walk around palaces, audience halls and a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
From here it’s onwards to the Jantar Mantar Observatory, where you’ll see many impressive instruments used for measuring “the harmony of the heavens”. After this you’ll have a photo opportunity at the Palace of the Winds (Hawa Mahal), and will enjoy a drive through some of the pink areas of the city.
Day 6
Jaipur - Pushkar
The driver will take you to Pushkar(2 hrs 30 Mins / 180 Kms approx.). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for refreshments and photography.
Half Day Pushkar Tour ( Pushkar )
At the heart of Pushkar is the lake – known as Brahm Sarovar – and the whole of this tour will take place in its vicinity. As well as spending some time wandering alongside the lake, you’ll also get the opportunity to visit Brahma Temple (one of the few remaining temples dedicated to the Hindu god Brahma) and look around Pushkar Bazaar.
Day 7
Pushkar - Udaipur
The driver will take you to Udaipur ( 4 Hrs 45 Mins / 286 Kms approx. ). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for refreshments and photography.
Day 8
Full Day Udaipur City Tour ( Udaipur )
First of all you’ll visit Udaipur’s City Palace, where you’ll get the chance to explore this 400-year old Maharana’s residence. Later on in the day, you’ll spend some time relaxing in the beautiful Sahelion-ki-Bari gardens, before moving onto the Jagdish temple and the local folk museum. With lunch taken somewhere in the middle, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace) before finishing the day with a boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Day 9
Hotel - Udaipur Airport ( Udaipur )
The driver will take you to the airport for your flight. We recommend you depart for the airport four hours before an international flight and three hours prior to a domestic one.
