Day-wise Itinerary

 

Day 1



Delhi - Leh

 

  • Welcome to Leh! Your holiday will begin with your arrival at the Leh airport where you will meet our representative who will guide you to your hotel.
  • Check-in at the hotel
  • Relish a hearty breakfast at the hotel
  • After breakfast, the rest for the day will be for you to rest in order to adjust to the high altitude region of Leh
  • Savour a delectable dinner and have a peaceful overnight stay at the hotel in Leh



Day 2

Leh - Excursion to River Confluence, Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame (60 km, 3 hours drive approximately)

  • Dig into an appetizing breakfast at the hotel
  • Post breakfast, drive to Nimu where the major rivers of Ladakh, Indus and Zanskar meet.
  • En route, you will see the gravity defying phenomenon of the Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib
  • On your way back in the afternoon, pay homage to the war heroes at the Hall of Fame. Further, travel to Leh to visit the Shanti Stupa and the Leh Market
  • Take delight in scrumptious dinner and relax yourself with an overnight stay at your hotel in Leh




Day 3

 

Leh - Nubra Valley via Khardung La (130 km, 5 hours drive approximately)

 

  • Get a kick out of a toothsome breakfast and check-out from the hotel
  • Then, go North to Nubra Valley, also known as the Valley of flowers or Ldumra.
  • You will cross the well-known Khardung La (at 18,380 feet) which is the highest motorable road in the world
  • Travel straight to the camp/ resort and check-in. A warm lunch will be served on the way
  • You can also see the Ladakhi Cultural Show nearby (on direct payment basis)
  • Indulge in a lavish dinner and have a pleasant overnight stay at the camp/ resort in Nubra Valley



Day 4

 

Nubra Valley - Sand Dunes of Hunder - Deskit Monastery - Leh (130 km, 6 hours drive one way)

 

  • Be pleased with a lovely breakfast at the hotel
  • Then, make your way towards the popular Sand Dunes of Hunder.
  • Here, you can ride a double-humped Bactrian camel (optional and on direct payment basis).
  • It is also known as ‘the desert in the sky’. The movie Dil Se was shot here
  • After that, drive to the Deskit Monastery which has a stunning Maitreya Statue.
  • While on your way back to Leh, stop to get your photo taken in front of the the signboard which says ‘KHARDUNGLA TOP, (18380 FEET), HIGHEST MOTORABLE ROAD IN THE WORLD’
  • End your day with a sumptuous dinner and relax yourself with an overnight stay at the hotel in Leh



Day 5

 

Leh - Pangong Lake (145 km, 6 hours drive approximately)

 

  • Kick off this day of your Ladakh holiday package with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel
  • Then, head on a scenic drive to the Pangong Lake (also known as the Hollow Lake) through Chang La, the third highest motorable road in the world (at 5,486 m).
  • Pangong Tso is a brackish lake at a height of 4,350 m in the Changthang region of Ladakh.
  • It is 134 km long and extends from India to Tibet. The last scene of the movie 3 Idiots was filmed here
  • On your way back, relish a heavenly lunch
  • Savour a hearty dinner and have a cosy overnight stay in Pangong



Day 6

Departure from Leh - Delhi

 

You will travel to Leh airport early in the morning to your board flight back to Delhi as your vacation will come to an end
